Inaugural Chicago Cocktail Club Get-Together

Are you tired of the same old overcrowded bars, and paying $5 for a mediocre beer, or $8 for some watered-down cocktail made by some sloppy bartender? Well even if you love the frat scene, and blowing your money on crappy drinks, join us for the Inaugural Chicago Cocktail Club meeting.

The point of the Chicago Cocktail Club is to share an evening with friends new and old, and sample some tasty cocktails. The reason it's fun is because each person attending is responsible for bringing the inredients to make one (1) type of drink to share with everbody, on a small scale, in a very small (think shot glass size) cup. Everybody will sample everybody else's drinks this way (on a small scale, to make sure you're still standing later that night).

So what does this mean to you, the partygoer? It means that if The Dubtron decides he is going to share a 'Red-Headed Slut' drink with everybody, he would bring the ingredients to make a 'Red-Headed Slut' (Peach schnapps, Jaegermeister, Cranberry juice) with him to the party. If his co-partyer, Dr. Special K Hypnotiq decides she is going to share a 'Caipirinha' drink with everybody, she would bring the ingredients to make a 'Caipirinha' (Cachaca, fresh limes, sugar) with her to the party. We'll have the ice, and the cocktail shakers, and cups/glasses.

Simple, isn't it? Now get your party on.
